While I'm far from a professional photographer, I do love to make photos, edit photos and restore photos. I use all the tricks in Photoshop, an array of special effects plug-ins and professional portrait retouching software.
Image editing: I replaced Uncle Sam's face and blended the woman in as if part of the original artwork. I also designed the poster.
The setting, the finery, the attitude...But post-production made this shot a keeper: distractions were removed (flash shadows, some furniture); curtains with blown-out highlights were replaced.
